  I am a Sociologist with an interdisciplinary background in social anthropology and Gender studies. Currently Professor in Sociology in Department of Sociology Quaid-I-Azam University Pakistan. I was previously Associate Professor Sociology and Chairman Department in International Islamic University Pakistan. I also served International Islamic University as Deputy Dean Social Sciences from 2008 to 2019. My Qualifications include Post-doc in Sociology from the University of Birmingham UK, a PhD in Sociology from the University of Peshawar Pakistan and University of Birmingham UK, M. Phil Anthropology from Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad Pakistan and MA sociology from the University of Peshawar, Pakistan. I remained higher education fellow to the university of Birmingham UK and IRD fellow to the Muslim Critical Summer School in Spain.I have published more than 45 research articles in the national and international peer reviewed journals the having 414 google scholar citation. I have supervised 16 M. Phil, 4 Ph. D and 60 MSc theses. I have also presented my research in national and international conferences at the university of Cambridge UK, University of Birmingham UK.
