  Facilitate the strategic sourcing process for internal business partners to provide supplier discover, qualification, product specification review, opportunities to model and tie to commodities, create supply chain efficiencies and recommend award strategy. Build and maintain should cost models utilizing commodity inputs and ingredient costs for commodity driven products lowering net landed costs and/or minimizing cost risks. Develop presentations and reports representing scope, hypothesis, internal/external data, and market data/trends and make recommendations. Support corporate initiatives of cross banner synergies, minimizing shrink, increasing cash flow, and helping to strengthen retail. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, third party providers, contract carriers, inter-company departments, and governmental & regulatory agencies during sourcing events and maintenance of models where applicable. Facilitate continuous improvement conversations at all levels throughout the organization. Support category through long range demand planning in order to more accurately forecast based on commodity predictions (for Direct Sourcing). Communicate cost and volume forecast activities value to stakeholders. Assist in margin budget process for financial targets impacted by commodity categories (for Direct Sourcing).
