Responsible for all aspects of project management, design & delivery of project activities and coordination of partner organisations. • Coordinator, National Biodiversity Week 2017: Successfully liaised with 17 national environmental NGOs to organise and deliver a week-long national celebration of biodiversity involving over 60 free events across Ireland• Campaign Officer (People4Soil): Developed campaign plan to guide and monitor Ireland’s progress on European Citizens Initiative’s #People4Soil petition • Contributor to Green News: researched and wrote articles for The Green News environmental news website

      Researcher & Producer - TEXTILE MOUNTAIN

      Shot in Kenya, Ireland & Belgium, TEXTILE MOUNTAIN is a short documentary exposing the global impacts of fast fashion waste. The film highlights the social and environmental cost of the second hand clothing trade, tracing the path of our unwanted garments from recycling bins in Europe to landfills and waterways in the Global South. Distributed by 25 NGOs across the EU, the film was translated into 11 languages and has been viewed over 200,000 times. It was produced thanks to funding from the from the EU-funded 'Make Europe Sustainable for All' project through the European Environmental Bureau (EEB)• Responsible for all stages of film production including concept development, research & distribution, marketing, budget management, logistics & production administration Show less

      As Head of Programmes, I oversee the design and delivery of our key Global Citizenship Education programmes mobilising third level students to stand up for global justice, equality and sustainability. I lead a brilliant team who work to deliver the STAND Student Festival, Global Issues courses, the Ideas Collective, STAND News and the STAND Changemakers Academy, as well as other Irish and European programmes which build the skills and capacities of young people to advocate for justice and equality. I also lead on building industry and sectoral parterships, managing our programmes budget, and working with donors and our Strategic Partners to identify opportunities to maximise our reach and impact.
