  I've established several publications at Medium, including these: The Narrative Arc, memoir & nonfiction; The Wind Phone, grief & loss essays; Imogene's Notebook, poetry & fiction; Whistle Blower, current US politics; Parasol Publications, meta and publication information. I oversee a team of a dozen editors and publishers, and have collaborated with several in creating publications. As a writer, I publish my own nonfiction, but also write promotional literature for several publications. As an editor and publisher, I work with hundreds of writers to assist them in refining their words. As a 'boost nomination pilot program' participant at Medium, I pitch essays for the coveted 'boost' at Medium.In short, I work with language, people, ideas, and imagination to make the world a more interesting place!My education includes a BA honors in English; an MEd. (master's in education); secondary teaching certification; and an RSA Celta from Cambridge. I can teach adult learners, and my area of expertise is in teaching writing.
