  Master Thesis student (NTNU) and Freelancer Project Assistant

  - Worked on improving the drill string dynamics classification system with Wellbore Technology department, National Oilwell Varco at Stavanger, Norway. The existing classifier fails to detect damages occurring in low frequencies.- Developed a statistical model for real-time high-frequency data. The model flags the damaging dynamics with six real-time indicators. Presented my proposal to NOV and successfully tested it on six similar incidents. After graduating from NTNU, worked as a freelancer with NOV with the implementation of the proposals.- The vibration monitoring tools are not standardized and hence, operators have very little understanding of the drilling optimizing tools.   - Wrote a basic algorithm and designed process framework to streamline real-time high-frequency data telemetry systems at the drilling rigs. The application can map complex transient 3-D dynamics in real-time.- Self-designed and 3D printed a proprietary measurement unit for test purposes and successfully tested it in real-life operational data environment.- The application has the potential to assist drilling engineers to visualize the dynamic in real-time and save valuable non productive time (NPT) as similar analysis can take up to 15-30 minutes.
