      • Learnt the process of producing industrial abatement systems through inductions and shadowing the senior engineer. • Produced a working prototype model to be used at demonstrations for clients to show the necessary process of the abatement systems, by working independently to design, create, test, and document the prototype. • Created the prototype by learning how to use CATIA, AutoCAD among other software packages provided by the company to 3D design parts and assembly; created an electrical schematic for the control box. • Made an electrical requisition to source parts to create and build the control box.       • Subsystem integration lead for the electrical subsystem on a Rolls Royce Defence project, in relation to the UK 6th generation fighter aircraft, Tempest.• Responsible for the V model life cycle management of the New Product Introduction (NPI), in particular, concept development, requirements capture through DOORs (alignment to MBSE CAMEO modelling), validation of design and system integration• Manage integration to the wider system through functional interfaces, physical interfaces and project milestones delivered through support on technical experts• Delivery of project milestones through Agile Scrum methodology. Defining scope and boundary of team tasks based on work load capacity in agreement with the Product Owner (PO) against milestones• Leading Functional Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FFMEA) for the electro-mechanical system, identifying failure modes, limitations in capability and identifying new system requirements• Review of Def-Stan 970, CS-E and ARP 4754 certification standards in line with system design Show less • Safety and Reliability. Understanding of safety propagations within a system using Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), generated a summary FMECA for a fleet for EASA. Took a lead role in safety investigation in Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System to establish cause and effect, following RR processes, technical reviews and escalation to close out action.• Group Technical Project provided an opportunity to solve a problem for a sector of the business. Gained knowledge in project management principles of Waterfall PM and Agile PM. Applied these concepts to create a prototype device for Rolls Royce Electrical to effectively optimise thermal management solutions for power electronic systems. Took the lead role in control system, instrumentation and thermal understanding. Oversaw the creation of the control system of the device to communicate to instrumentation and provide data logging capabilities.• Assembly & Test Production facility working in the design engineering team, who oversee the root cause investigation for engines that fail on production pass-off. Oversaw improvements activities on assembly procedures to ensure consistency and reliability in build requirements. Coordination between specialists and head engineers to overcome obstacles with requirements and policies.• Performance engineering for the Trent 7000/1000. Gained technical understanding in engine performance and characteristics. Carried out an investigation to validate new engine software logic.
