Currently Lecturing (1985) on Long-term Success and Complications in Implant Dentistry.

      In 1984 P.I. Brånemark was the main surgeon demonstrating a hip graft to the maxilla using the Osseointegrated implant to secure the graft to the maxilla with the simultaneous placement of four implants. In attendance were Howard Davis, Peter Moy, Robert Fontanesi, David Hochwald, Richard Berger, and Roy Yanase. Discussions led to the organization of 20 faculty and practicing dentists forming the Osseointegration Study Club of Southern California. The OSCSC has continued quarterly meetings for 27 years with an outreach Pacific Rim study club, the Osseointegration Study Club of Japan in 2000. Show less
