My job was to control the quality of polypropylene using X fluorescence, infrared and UV, to proceed the measure of Meltendex, and to work in collaboration with all departments of APPRYL (Process, Commercial, Security, Operational), using PI Type schematic software and Office pack, RMN device. A 12-week internship in Appryl Naphtachimie Lavera, I was in charge of making the thermal balance on the cooling exchangers for polymerization of polypropylene, and I was responsible for making different measures in order to prevent the progress of operations during the Quinquennial stop of the unit.

  I had three projects, the first one was to dimension a new filter for extracting fine plastic particles from the cutting water of an extruder.Second, I was in charge of the ATEX zoning of my factory, for that I worked with a ATEX expert from an external company (SOM Industrie). The last one was to create an application using software (Pi ProceesBook), where all the parts in the factory is visualized. With that, all engineers can have a live access to factory’s settings on their laptop. Internal Auditor for Naphtachimie and INEOS Chimie (knowledge of ISO standards 14001, 9001, 50001).
