  Weigand Construction and Pepper Construction joined to construct the 600 million expansion and renovation of a 400 bed, 900,000 sq. ft. state of the art facility for Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne Indiana. Weigand/Pepper then partnered with the Indiana Department of Labor and INSAFE to achieve superior safety performance and provide unprecedented transparency during the implementation of the site safety program. DBO2 SafetyNet was used to collect data, measure risk/severity, and then use trending analysis to determine any leading indicators to possible upcoming incidents.Motivated team of 12 safety professionals, to ensure quality and consistency of safety auditing.Worked with each subcontractor to develop a Project Specific Safety Plan for their scope of work.Trained/Oriented over 4,500 employees to this site putting emphasis on employee expectations. W/P and IDOL partnership lasted 31 months and logged over 3 million man hours. Show less
