I work with injured workers, medical providers, attorneys, claim managers, and other vocational specialists involved in Labor and Industries Claims in Washington state. My job is to assess an injured worker's ability to get back to work - whether it be at the job of injury or a transferable skills position. When neither of those scenarios are an option, I work with clients who are in retraining. In reality, this job is a never-ending puzzle. Working with people is what makes this job interesting (confusing, fun, frustrating...) and I wouldn't have it any other way. If nothing else, I'm definitely not bored. Show less
