  System Planning Engineer

  Performed load-flow, transient stability network simulations and contingency analysis. Used the results to predict weaknesses in sub transmission system, which were later operationally verified.

  Over this period, I held a long series of positions in the technical, staff and management areas, primarily in the Oil Operations Business Line. Beginning as an electrical engineer in the company’s largest refinery, then moved through a series of supervisory positions with the planning staff and engineering organization for the VP of Operations. Then over the next 15 years, was assigned to a progressive series of engineering, supervisory, project management and division head assignments. During much of this time, was responsible for an engineering design team and the management of engineering divisions with engineers in the chemical, process, electrical, instrumentation, computer control, corrosion, structural analysis, laboratory quality control, field inspection and subsea pipeline specialties. These engineering groups directly supported the daily oil producing operations in Saudi ARAMCO’s offshore oil and gas production facilities including onshore processing and utility systems, many of which are the largest in the world. Completed the Saudi ARAMCO career in 2003. Show less
