Key achievements include;BA IT assurance of Heathrow Airport Ltd. baggage projects delivering upgrades to the Heathrow Terminal 3 and 5 baggage systems, ensuring changes integrated correctly with BA operational systems and processes. Delivery of a network wide SaaS baggage track and trace system, allowing visibility of baggage across the BA network. Working with IAGGBS procurement to conduct major supplier selection exercises for a new bag Re-flighting system and for airside vehicle dash cam and telematics systems.Managing the upgrade of SABRE staff administration systems used by BA Resource Planning and Demand teams for Heathrow and Gatwick airports. Managing the upgrade of SABRE flight sentry aircraft tracking system to latest supported version and the introduction of new contracts for the provision of this service with SABRE.Management the delivery of support tooling for BA’s System Integration Platform (SIP), a massive SOA solution supporting the running of all Customer and Flight Management activities for BA. Providing visualisation of service states across the SOA platform, orchestration and control of services and collection and consolidation of log data into a ‘Big Data’ repository.Management of several teams developing Front End functionality and Business Services for BA’s Customer Management programme. Responsible for the Baggage, Arrivals and Customer Compensation streams of work.   responsible for planning and managing the BA Heathrow Airport Operations IT portfolio and the BA Engineering IT portfolio. Ensuring delivery to time, cost and quality through the whole project life cycle, from scoping through to implementation and handover to BAU support. Key achievements include;BA Heathrow restructuring project to manage return of personal IT kit (laptops, iPads, phones) for circa 10,000 colleagues, ensuring inventories updated and kit returned to stores. Migration of airport compensation applications from an obsolete Mastercard API to use a new, supported API interface from Mastercard. Re-engineering of circa 20 iPAD applications used by operations, engineering and flight crew from obsolete Apple SDK features to use current supported equivalents. Changes to iLoad Direct iPad application to support departing flights without NOTOCs.Integration of lateral planning and real time resource management systems to allow the BA Heathrow baggage hall resourcing to be managed centrally using a dynamic demand driven mechanism to deliver optimum resourcing levels.Managing the delivery of BA Engineering SAP small changes by the support team using a DevOps / Product model.Managing a component upgrade of the BA Engineering SAP system to bring the system on to latest supported versions.
