      Manage the operations of the UAS / EMARSS program and activities, direct operations, equipment and personnel. Plan, coordinate and direct a workforce of military, civilian and contract personnel engaged in all UAS functions. Ensure resources are managed efficiently and economically within required standards. Serve as A-ISR subject matter expert for UAS & EMARSS operations. Provide DA-level standardization oversight and assistance to all A-ISR units and conduct program quality assurance and standardization for all aviation proponent training. Reviews and evaluates flight training and standardization programs in the UAS unit. Collaborate with subject matter experts within DoD agencies for UAS flight standardization, training development, and field issues. Review and evaluate A-ISR functions, equipment and supportability related issues and actions. Exercise knowledge and provide technical expertise of aviation standardization requirements in the development and comment on operational concepts and provide assistance to others who prepare flight training guides and program of instructions. Ensure UAS training and operations are addressed during the process of transforming and improving Army aviation operability and supportability. Investigate and analyze a wide variety of DoD Manned and Unmanned Aerial Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) and Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Target Acquisition (RSTA) initiatives encompassing various intelligence disciplines and operational techniques. Collect and analyze threat information to understand and report potential impacts to UAS operations. Review UAS and EMARSS accidents and/or Serious Incident Reports (SIR), determine potential impacts on current operations and procedures and recommends changes. Represents HQ, INSCOM at various joint and national level organizations, military departments and DoD reviews of Aerial ISR and RSTA operations. Show less
