      Euromed Laboratories Philippines Inc. allowed me to apply my expertise in the field of microbiology. Here, I learned new things such as disinfection of clean rooms, testing of intravenous products and raw materials, as well as water samples from mixing tanks and UV-treated areas. We also attended seminars about good manufacturing practices and participated in international audits.       In the lab, I handled interesting projects such as the sequencing batch reactor (SBR), rain garden (LID), quantification of antibiotics and metabolites from environmental and biota, effects of antibiotics on non target wildlife, degradation of pharmaceuticals (bioremediation), and experiments dealing with both microbiology and environmental engineering. I joined international conferences and participated both in oral and poster presentations.
