Aug 2014 - Jul 2019Human Resources Staffing Coordinator / Spanish InterpreterI was initially the Receptionist & Spanish Interpreter but promoted to Human Resources Dept to work as the Staffing Coordinator. I managed the on-boarding process, created new slides -using Power-Point- for employee orientations, in English & Spanish. Annually & for each new employee that is being hired, I coordinated & conducted company insurance benefits enrollment and assisted each employee with their selections. I worked closely with the Production Supervisors, tracked employee work performance with our company software program & updated matrixes, created & posted work schedules with Excel spreadsheets, and managed personnel records. As the liaison to our local staffing agencies, I managed our staffing needs by requesting or letting go of contingent employees, as needed. I tracked temporary employees’ hours/time, using a payroll system and sent it to each agency weekly. Any issue that occurred- involving temporary employees, was managed by me. I met with employees & would intervene at times, depending on the issue, & created reports for each incident. I was also responsible for translating all work instructions from English, to Spanish. Jul 2019 - Aug 2022Administrative Assistant / Spanish InterpreterAs the Admin, I managed the front office, worked closely with the Plant Mgr., and coordinated between our suppliers, customers, & the sales team- with attention to detail & accuracy. I received or sent out all mail & packages – using NeoPost machine & coordinating with UPS & FedEx, received guests & visitors, and maintained all company electronic databases & logs with Excel spreadsheets that I created. I was liaison to our local staffing agencies- requested or let go of contingent employees and collected their hours/time for payroll processing weekly-using Kronos- & sent to each agency. If any issues arose between, or amongst employees, I assisted with each meeting held & created reports for each incident. I was also responsible for managing all fulltime & salary employee payroll hours- using Kronos payroll system and sending to corporate office each week. I conducted all orientations in English & Spanish and created all new PowerPoint slides, listing company rules & policies. I coordinated insurance benefits enrollment annually & assisted employees with their enrollment. I held the official Records Clerk position, as well and entered all employee training and EHS documents & requirements into spreadsheets that I created. I purchased all office supplies & PPE, received & paid all invoices for payment- where accuracy was critical & all items were to be accounted for. I followed up with vendors if there were invoicing issues, following thru with each & every invoice until paid, or received. I created an interactive Attendance Tracker that is currently in use by the supervisory staff-it tracks absences, as well as employee vacation time, & paid time off. I interpreted all of our staff meetings & trainings, translated work instructions, & created a Spanish version of all company policies. When we received company guests, I arranged catering for breakfast & lunch, and hotel reservations, if needed. Show less

I keep a digital log of all files, scan them into OnBase, & place the physical copies in our filing-storage system. I correspond with the Social Security Administration, receive & process the request for files that are being subpoenaed from various attorneys & court systems. I coordinate with our school Psychologists, Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational & Physical Therapists, and Teachers when they request that I interpret for IEP meetings, Truancy meetings, Evaluations, & follow-ups – for the families that do not speak English.
