  Moved regions from Aberdeen to Glenrothes and within 1 year became the most profitable bakery department in the east of Scotland. Responsible for Rotas, managing and ordering of stock taking into account current market trends. Became more directly in contact with the regional management to be pushed forward to promotion to become a Trading Manager. Successfully passed the interview process to do so. Moved management teams to lead my own managers in absence of the General Store Manager. Promoted to Ambient Foods Manager to lead the team through a major refit of the store, consulting with regional managers on the optimum areas of the store to achieve maximum profit margins. At the time of leaving the store had the biggest increase year on year grocery sales in the north east of Scotland. Became a bigger player in the store with frequent duty store management. Relocated to Aberdeen to further my career within the company. Promoted to Bakery Manager at a time when the store was experiencing austerity measures. Focussed on driving sales and cost cutting within the department which increased sales by 50%. Working within a newly formed management team with the task of opening a new, purpose built store in Dalgety Bay. Involved from inception to recruit and train 75 new members of staff, time management crucial as responsible for targets and profits for two departments. Duty management was crucial with the small store structure. Initially working part time whilst at university and worked at shop floor level covering all processing within the department. Encouraged by the then management to apply to become a manager, successfully becoming a manager at the age of 20, one of the youngest colleagues to have achieved this in Scotland.
