      I was responsible for day-to-day branch operations and personnel management. I led customer service, sales goals and marketing plans, and oversaw annual branch audit reviews.

      In this role I was the clinical operations director of a pediatric specialty services multiagency clinic for children with special health care needs. I led the patient and family voices committee that supported experience of care strategies. I also provided leadership in the planning and implementation of a nonprofit 501(c) (3). I built and implemented the organizational health equity strategic plan. I was also responsible for the leadership of community wellness programs and developed partnerships with funders and community organizations to implement county level health improvement initiatives. I participated in the implementation of a Native American led infant mortality committee and research that addressed countywide health disparities. I built the organizations language services department, implemented new policies using change management strategies, led 5 departments, 18 programs and up to 120 employees with a combined operational budget of $12Mil. I implemented lean project focused on improving processes that impacted quality of care. I served as the organizational leadership representative on the Greater Columbia Accountable Communities of Health council, and participated with the Health Care Authority on implementing statewide health improvement plans to address health disparities among underserved population Show less In this role I was responsible for the operational oversight of evidence based Health Education programs following public health models and theory. I worked with the CDC and Hispanic Access Foundation on Juntos Podemos Contra el Cáncer a community based participatory research project to address Latinx health disparities. I was co-investigator in a childhood obesity prevention research project with Pacific Northwest University of Health and Science; and a research associated of hospital based Emergency Department utilization hotspotter project in partnership with Kaiser Permanente Center for Community Health & Evaluation. I also led the organization's community and population health interventions; working with a community of health collaborative to develop countywide health improvement plan to address social determinants of health using collective impact/cross-sector approaches. I had leadership responsibilities for the organizational Healthy Hospitals Initiative; healthier foods in healthcare, less waste, safer chemicals, leaner energy, and smarter purchasing. I also led the The Memorial Foundation's grants programs, which raised over $2Mil annually. Show less
