Co-ordinated programmes in Honduras, Trinidad & Tobago, St Vincent, Honduras, Mexico, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Fiji and Papua New Guinea. Line managed the Terrestrial Science Section (UK & overseas), co-ordinating all aspects of the forest research, conservation and resource assessment programmes in Southeast Asia. Developed and managed the tropical forest research and conservation programmes in the Meso-America and Indo-Pacific regions.

I was the principal research lead for natural resource assessment projects (e.g. Darwin Initiative funded project in Papua New Guinea) and conducted assessments on European designated sites (e.g. SPA, SAC).

      I worked for the EDGE of Existence programme which is the only global conservation initiative to focus specifically on threatened species that represent a significant amount of unique evolutionary history. Using a scientific framework to identify the world’s most Evolutionarily Distinct and Globally Endangered (EDGE) species, the EDGE of Existence programme highlights and protects some of the weirdest and most wonderful species on the planet.
