      An EU Interreg IVB funded project Build with CaRe seeks to mainstream low carbon, low energy construction.Working with the University of East Anglia I have sought to gather evidence of approaches to overcoming barriers to achiving this objective. The project covers new build and retrofit, in homes and non-domestic. The project has partners across the EU North Sea region and transnational knowledge exchange is a vital part of the project.My role has included monitoring the performance of several low energy buildings to ascertain whether they are meeting design aspirations for comfort, air quality and energy use.
