  Transport manager with 30+ years “ground up” experience in many areas of transport operations and compliance. Responsible for a diverse fleet of vehicles ranging in size from 3.5 tonne light commercial’s up to 44 tonne articulated HGV and managing the fleet maintenance needs at an in house garage facility. Areas of operation managed include fuel oil and LPG tankers, bulk animal feed blowing and bulk tipping work, curtain sider (not just pallet work) plus panel and drop sided van deliveries. Due to the highly regulated requirements of these activities I have a good knowledge of many rules and regulations required of them and of other compliance related regulations such as tachograph and working time directive.
