  In 2011 I became an assistant coach at Lings Gymnastics Sports Academy where I was later employed, after completing my Level 1 Coaching Award in General Gymnastics, in 2015. My responsibilities and skills gained were; risk assessing, adapting plans to ensure participation and equal opportunities, safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, customer service, communicating effectively, implementing different teaching styles, following legal procedures, remaining enthusiastic and encouraging children to enjoy themselves whilst coaching them gymnastics. Whilst working at Lings Gymnastics Sports Academy, I was also responsible for coaching children and adults with learning difficulties and physical disabilities. This enable me to gain experience in aiding these athletes to develop overtime. Show less

  At Goals Soccer Centres, I worked as a Kids Party co-ordinator and a member of the bar staff; this allowed me to gain experience within dissimilar roles. Whilst working as a Kids Part Co-ordinator my responsibilities and skills gained were; time management, entertainment, cooking and serving food, customer service, communication, enthusiasm and presentation skills. As a member of the Bar Staff, I gained experience and skills associated with the sale of alcohol. These included; handling money, gaining knowledge of alcoholic substances and how best to serve them, enforcing legal limits and the legal age of consumption. Show less

  During my employment at Trilogy I worked in a variety of positions including; Funzone Assistant, Assistant Gymnastics Coach, Playrangers Assistant and General Assistant working both at Receptionist and within the Cafe at Berzerk. I enjoyed working within these positions as they were situated within Children centred environments which were created for enjoyment, education and exercise. The main responsibilities of these roles were; handing money correctly, customer service, taking food orders, filling paperwork correctly, leading and entertaining children in both sporting, craft and recreational activities and risk assessing scenarios to ensure safety. Throughout my time at trilogy I was employed within a 0 hours role and balanced shifts well within the company. Show less

  Christmas Temporary Cast Member

  I was employed as a Temporary Cast Member at the Milton Keynes' branch of the Disney Store over the busy Christmas period in 2017. This allowed me to gain valuable experience not only in retail but also as being a Disney Cast Member. My responsibilities were; Guest Serving, participating in events in store such as the Opening Ceremony and birthday parties, watching for hotspots, processing deliveries, storytelling to share disney magic with guests, filling stock correctly and serving guests at the Cash and Wrap where I was responsible for; gift wrapping, ensuring correct transactions, achieving talk up targets and guest serving throughout.   PE Technician

  As a Full Time PE Technician I was responsible for ensuring all elements of the PE Department were able to run smoothly due to me working behind the scenes to set everything in place. This included tasks such as; organising, ordering and processing equipment, contacting other schools and associations to organise fixtures, organising transport for fixtures, assisting in lessons, independently leading lessons as a cover supervisor and running the fitness suite independently after-school. This role gave me the opportunity to not only continue work and developing within Sport, but also within Events. Being a PE Technician, specifically, enabled me to gain experience in planning, organising and delivering events within a sporting and school environment. This enables me to gain skills in; event management, organisation, filling successful, time management, prioritising tasks, risk assessment and event delivery. I thoroughly enjoyed working within this role at Wollaston School and credit the department and School for being an opportunity to experience working within events, yet within the sporting setting I am used to, thus allowing me to go onto leaving in September to begin a BA in Joint honours Event Management and International Tourism.   Whilst working as a flexible, Heart Angel at Global I was present at events throughout the year and interacting with guests. My main responsibilities were; engaging with guests, encouraging guests to interact with our Paparazzi Wall and any additional competitions or elements, risk assessing situations and ensuring Health and Safety are met before any event begins and assembling and dissembling all equipment.

  Cast Member

  I am currently employed on an 8 hour contract in which I must remain flexible and work overtime when needed. My main roles at the Disney Store are the same as experienced previously as a Temporary Cast Member in 2018. Being now permanent, I am however able to set commitments and work on developing as a Cast Member. My main aim within the store is to become more active within our events. This I have already began participating in as I have been able to gain experience leading our Opening Ceremonies independently as well as being the lead Cast Member during our Disney Trip reveals. Coming into 2019, I hope for this to continue as the store is in the process of planning and introducing more events in store. Show less
