  Senior Privacy Programme Manager

  As a Senior Privacy Programme Manager I lead the Privacy Strategy, Planning and Reporting team, within the Privacy Legal Function, in Booking.com’s Legal and Public Affairs department. My role involves: - Enabling Privacy Governance, through the operation of key privacy management forums and the Privacy Steering Committee - Partnering with Legal Operations to ensure the cascade of company and department level objectives into privacy objectives - Enabling the formulation, review and oversight of the privacy strategy, with the Chief Privacy Officer and privacy leadership - Facilitating privacy framework maturity target setting - Preparing, prioritizing and monitoring privacy legal plans and budgets, required to deliver the privacy strategy and maturity targets - Driving the execution of global Privacy Regulatory Change Management, including horizon scanning and translation of legal requirements into prioritized quarterly plans - Performing cross-functional privacy planning and handshakes with privacy and business teams - Leading and overseeing the Privacy Programme of projects that enable privacy compliance globally - Partnering with First and Second Line privacy risk teams to enable privacy risk management, including risk and control monitoring activities and the mitigation of privacy risk in line with the privacy risk appetite - Enabling privacy support for other strategic business programmes, where relevant and applicable - Providing recurring reporting to senior leadership, including the Booking.com Risk Committee and Booking Holdings - Advocating for continuous privacy programme, regulatory change management and privacy risk process improvement through promotion, adoption and alignment with legal design principles, relevant frameworks, and the creation of playbooks - Managing the Privacy Strategy, Planning and Reporting team, including guiding and supporting their personal development Show less
