  • Review and approval of shop drawings and Material Submittals• Review of the specifications and Bills of Quantities. • Ensure that the Electrical Designs are in line with our Design guidelines. • Ensure that Electrical designs are value Engineered and cost efficient. • Ensure that the Electrical Designs are in line with the latest Authority requirements• Liasoning with Local Authorities, Clients & Contractors.• Liaising with the other Inspectors and Project Engineers to provide support and guidance as required• Monitoring all Electrical Engineering networks aspects of the project to ensure compliance with approved and proper standards• Monitor Electrical installations to ensure that only approved materials are being used in the permanent works.• Inspects and tests electrical parts, assemblies, and accessories prior to installation for conformance to specifications and quality standards• Inspection of works carried out by the contractor in respect of the works relative to Electrical networks.• Site Supervision for Lighting, Power, Fire Alarm and All Low Current Systems. • Witnessing of testing and verification of electrical systems commissioning• Review and monitor variations to the work to mitigate time and cost impacts for any required changes• Provide reports on the progress of the Electrical networks aspects of the project• Expediting of NOCs from relevant authorities if they appear to be stalled or in delay• Expedition of approvals from the Project Engineer if it appears to be stalled or delaying the project• Prepare reports related to inspections and quality of the works• Design related correspondance.• Co-ordination with Architectural, Structural & Other services.• Attending Site Progress Review meeting with Client, Main Contractor & Sub Contractor.
