  I worked on a PACT team to provide community integration style case management services to clients living with significant, persistent, and complicated mental health profiles. Our team collaborated with our clients in a strength-based, person-centric way. Our team worked to support our clients' abilities to set and accomplish their own goals while continuing to live independent and fulfilling lives. The bulk of my work focused on supporting clients who were unsatisfied with their current social lives. We brainstormed solutions and practiced skills relating to building and maintaining healthy interpersonal relationships, accomplishing activities of daily living, and/or spending time in the community. I also utilized harm reduction techniques with clients who were unsatisfied with their relationship with substances and/or working to manage non-suicidal self-injurious behaviors. Additionally, I served as the co-chair of the Social Responsibility Committee, a group designed to create opportunities for employees to collaborate with senior-level staff about organizational policies, employee training, and how the larger community context affects the day-to-day experiences of both staff and clients.
