  I primarily provided prevention and restorative care to under-18s within the mobile units of schools and fixed oral health clinics. When scheduled, I travelled to surrounding communities and the community hospital to give dental prophylaxis care to pregnant mothers, hospital patients and low socioeconomic patients. As an extracurricular, I took on the role of the Health & Safety Rep. I valued the importance of our safety and encouraged safety awareness and diligence in our work environment.

  As an oral health therapist, I assisted the orthodontic specialists with their procedures including fixed and non-fixed appliances. We travelled between 4 clinics to provide care to an extended community. During the long-term treatment plans, I supported the dental hygiene maintenance of the patients to optimise treatment outcomes and health.

  I practised primarily dental hygiene full-time. As a large dental team, including other hygienists, dentists and orthodontic auxiliaries, we collaborated to improve patient outcomes. I was dedicated to providing guided biofilm therapy to our community through EMS airflow and maintaining the busy appointment books.
