      Structure Project of the Year, 2014 California Transportation Foundation May 2014 Award was given for innovative design of the first Rockshed in the state of California over a highway facility. The rockshed is designed to withstand the impact and energy dissipation of a 10T bolder in free fall from over 150ft. The project also includes the design and construction of a segmental concrete box girder bridge in a rugged environment.
