  International Relations Cell is formed under Dean Of International Relations, with the aim of assisting the Office of Alumni Affairs and International Relations in facilitating the development and management of a variety of partnerships, linkages, and networks with institutions of academic excellence and repute all over the world.We are trying to put our best efforts to make IIT Kharagpur an elite global institution. We have taken several initiatives to boost IIT Kharagpur's International Ranking and to make its presence strong on the Global Platform. Improving and reviving many MOUs that IIT Kharagpur has with reputed universities dotted all over the globe. We are progressively working towards implementation of many initiatives like Foreign Training Program(FTP), Semester Exchange Programme, Faculty Newsletters and several others being in the developmental stage. 1)Lead a team to form INSAP (Incoming Students Assistance Package) to help the international students coming to IIT Kharagpur through Semester Exchange Program.2)Core Member of a project titled ' Vision 2020 IIT Kharagpur', which is an initiative to bring IIT Kharagpur among top 20 Technical Universities in the world

  Deep Learning Intern• Objective: to learn useful representations from a set of material microstructure images, that can lead to the efficient characterization of microstructure for use in establishing structure-property linkages in different material systems, •A method to learn similarity metric based on Siamese neural network architecture and implemented by achieving the goal which then can be used to classify and cluster microstructures based on similarity into 7 classes.•Initialized the weights with the pre-trained VGG16 model and contrastive loss function in the Siamese network over CNN architecture to increase the accuracy from 95% to 97.6% for image dataset consisting of 2400 micrograph images• Improved the accuracy by using the triplet network and triplet loss which resulted in increased accuracy by 0.8% Show less
