Activities and Societies: Strong commitment to the Edinburgh University Sustainable Development Association where I have served as first year representative, treasurer, president, and head of academic events. I have also been class representative for Economics as well as a leader for peer assisted learning schemes in sustainable development. My interests lie in the intersection of economics and politics and how we can design effective and inclusive systems of environmental governance. I also have a strong interest in political theory, especially in democracy studies.

Together with my supervisor, I conducted research on how traditional political ideologies accommodate for environmental considerations.

Harvard University

Selected for the competitive Secondary School Program for a summer session at Harvard University. Took university-level courses in comparative politics and world history.

University of Cambridge

Throughout the MPhil I explored aspects of environmental policy from legal and economic perspectives. For my dissertation I focused on the 2020 UK Climate Assembly, a democratic innovation seeking to contribute to the creation of better climate change policies.
