  Selected to conduct research with department chair Prof. Justin Phillips exploring partisan polarization regarding “culture war” issues, finding that polarization on abortion and LGBTQ+ rights occurred at the state level and as early as 1970–72; primarily responsible for literature review, archival data collection, and preparing related briefings; presented findings at Columbia College summer research symposium Oct 2023. Supported literature and citation review for get-out-the-vote book revision (in print Dec 2023); preliminarily trained an artificial intelligence interface to inform voters about political participation and assess candidate issue proximity from state party platforms; conducted literature review for work on political reservations in India.
