      Technical Services Engineer

Major Roles as the Technical Services Engineer:-Perform CFD analysis on manufactured tools and in research and development of new tools to understand pressure losses to improve the overall design wherever needed by simulating downhole conditions using Solidworks Flow Sim & ANSYS Fluent. -Create 3D models in Solidworks to perform FEA on welded joints & threaded connections to understand tool strength to avoid premature failures. Simulate downhole tension, compression and torque conditions in Solidworks to improve tool design as well as in research and development of new tools.-Create experimental test sections in the company workshop to test old and new tools to validate simulated results.-Create blueprints on AutoCAD & Generate 3D models and perform Lathe & Mill operations in BobCAD-CAM to generate CNC codes needed for manufacturing.-Research material science to apply in different tool applications & avoid premature failures due to material properties in harsh downhole environments.-Perform simulations on artificial lift system softwares such as Rodstar, PHDWIN & TAM to better understand the right application of tools in rod pumps, electrical submersible pumps etc.-Create algorithms using engineering principles to perform calculations applicable towards selection of right tool to maximize client’s oil and gas production by avoiding interventions and providing long run times by considering WC%, GOR, sand sieve analysis & CWA.-Interact with operators to collect data to analyze failures and design bottom hole assembly for well optimization and greater pump efficiency. Monitor sensor parameters before and after installation of our tools for technical papers.-Visually Inspect artificial pumps and OSI tools during teardown to investigate equipment failures to diagnose faulty operation (SWOT).-Co-ordinate efficiently with field services and work over crew for the installation procedure of proposed downhole design, required torque and safety concerns.
