  I support the MIS department of GBMC, as a trainer for Epic, our EMR. My role consists of training newly hired employees on how to document their workflows in Epic efficiently. I am credentialed in Ambulatory and Cadence applications. My other duties include being a service desk analyst for the Epic support line, which involves troubleshooting for all Epic applications and reporting issues to the appropriate Epic application team. Working under the supervisor, I assist with making sure the day shift operates with ease. I train new employees and keep the staff informed on updates concerning our job responsibilities. As a Patient Access Representative in the Emergency Room, I check in patients and follow up with obtaining patient demographics and insurance information, as well as any necessary co-payments.
