    • Starbucks

      Sept 2008 - Apr 2009
      Barista

Upon returning to New York from my stint living in "Xela", Guatemala, I knew I needed to take on work and fast! This is where I am blessed to have known and served a great company as Starbucks. I researched and reached out to find a store with an opening and found 32nd and 2nd Starbucks just outside the NYU Medical campus. I had the privilege to serve along side great people in yet another very fast paced and diverse environment. This is also where the V.P. of Thomas Publishing would end up seeing my ability to serve with a smile, a very demanding and diverse public and offer me the potential for a great opportunity! • Huntington National Bank

      Apr 2012 - Oct 2012
      Personal Banker

Working for Huntington was a privilege. It is a great company to serve and I served along side an excellent team under great leadership. I learned a great deal about the banking industry in my time with the company. I enjoyed using my passion for customer service serving the small town of Bay Village. Although I was successful in selling bank products, I found that my role was more sales focused than I desired. After six months I parted ways with Huntington. I however was given the privilege by my director at the time the opportunity to return in the future if I wished. Show less

    • Greater Cleveland RTA

      Mar 2014 - Oct 2014
      Public Relations Specialist

I was offered the opportunity to take on the role of public relations specialist, serving under the media relations manager with the executive department of the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA). Going in, I knew the role was temporary, but it gave me access into the day-to-day operations of an organization that had been a part of my upbringing since I was a kid in Northeast Ohio. I had the privilege to see and be a part of the action of a vital part of what keeps Cleveland thriving - its mass transit. My role encompassed representing the organization at events, such as the Vice President Biden visit and talk on infrastructure at GCRTA, to writing press releases for riderta.com, informing greater Cleveland of the latest with RTA and events up-and-coming, including those sponsored by GCRTA. I had the opportunity to meet and interact with Cleveland's local media outlets and their personnel, including reporters, investigators and editors, etc. To stay informed and up-to-date with RTA operations, I also attended board meetings held at the George F. Dixon, III Board Room. All in all, it was a pleasure and privilege to serve and learn more about this great organization and create relationships with the wonderful many employees I encountered on a day-to-day basis at the GCRTA.
