  In my role as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Centre for Community-Engaged Learning (CCEL), I assisted the Research and Evaluation team with an Education for Sustainability and Community-Based Experiential Learning project. I led research on student assessment aimed at advancing a learning journey for students that is progressive; moving a student from the early stage of awareness and understanding, through to co-creation, innovation, and real-time action on social and environmental challenges affecting communities both locally and globally. I also facilitated community of practice groups on campus around social sustainability and conducted interdisciplinary research on social sustainability, community engagement, social justice, adult education, and Education for Sustainability.
