My focus allowed me the opportunity to hone leadership skills such as negotiations, persuasion, management, and others through a lens of social policy. I was also able to take advantage of intensive social policy classes such as Economics of Public Policy, Poverty and Social Policy, and my capstone project working on the nation's first county-level Pay For Success program.
