  During my externship at Woodhull Emergency Department I assisted with patient care. I worked with a variety of patients including pediatrics, critical care and trauma care. My assignments included patient assessment, monitoring, taking and documenting vital signs, administration of oral medications, as well as subcutaneous/intramuscular and intradermal injections, intravenous therapy, tracheal suctioning, phlebotomy, urinary catheter care and wound care.
