      RESPONSIBILITIES: Kent Security is a large regional provider of security officers with over 1,000 employees. As President of two key Florida divisions, I negotiated all contracts—from $50k to over $1.5M per annum. I managed a large and geographically diverse staff covering operations, sales, training, and more. I created and authored website content and company marketing materials, made extensive public speaking and formal sales presentations to decision makers, taught at the officer certification academy, and managed the weapons armory. RESULTS: Outstanding. In turning my divisions around, I led the company to record profits for five years as President, attaining a 12%+ margin annually, surpassing an industry norm of 1-5%. I reversed poor morale, low productivity, heavy losses, a fleeing client base, and lack of vision and direction. Personally, I led all sales efforts, closing $20+ million in new recurring revenue contracts. I managed the estate and provided personal protection to an extremely wealthy and vulnerable individual. RESULTS: Establishing a new nationwide dealer network and several other distribution channels, including launching the company’s products on the internet and social media, I extensively expanded the firm’s reach. I created new sales training programs and presentations to key staff and stakeholders, achieving much higher closing ratios and reducing order cancellations. I developed compelling new marketing materials, including producing and hosting regional TV programs and commercials for resellers that dramatically presented the products’ benefits.
