      Responsibilities include managing ICT Support Service and infrastructure teams, management of all network servers and infrastructure, purchasing and budget management, system documentation, staff training, network security, third line technical support, project management, IT Policies & Strategies, Document Management, Managing 3rd party suppliers, and Disaster Recovery. Key AchievementsRemote Access Systems – designed and implemented remote access systems allowing over 200 staff to work remotely. The system allows access to all of Plan UK’s systems as well as use of the telephone system on a remote connection. This project was delivered on time and on budget in time for the Olympics in July 2012. Plan UK now has a robust remote access system that not only allows for flexible working, but has also improved its business continuity. This project resulted in a Plan UK staff award for ‘Innovation in the use of technology’.ICT Support services – delivered an ever improving IT Support service over a ten year period at Plan UK. Established a centralized helpdesk with a hotline number and an online helpdesk system. High levels of customer satisfaction where constantly maintained with the most recent IT Satisfaction survey resulting in an 88% overall positive rating. Office Move – was the technical lead for Plan UK & Interact Worldwide’s 2010 Office move. This entailed designing and implementing an entirely new infrastructure for 200 staff (Network, Telephone System, Printers, desk stations, etc), managing a budget of over £250,000, and coordinating seven different 3rd party suppliers to deliver services and equipment to the new building. The project was delivered on time and within budget. The move was done over a bank holiday weekend and all systems were fully operational by the start of the working week resulting in no loss of productivity for Plan UK.
