      Organize and take a wide range of data into consideration in formulating turnaround strategies, and immense influencing skills to sell such strategies to the management of corporates experiencing financial distress-Responsible for the delivery of turnaround strategies to a portfolio of predominantly Mid Corporate customers & SME’s experiencing financial distress-Manage all client relationship matters on distressed positions and early warning lists to prevent and mitigate against arrears-Partake in Risk Reports and Credit Committees to proactively manage arrears position-Preparation of Monthly and Quarterly Risk Reports-Preparation and presentation of the quarterly Watch List and Impaired Debt Committee (IDC) Packs for the quarterly IDC meetings,-Preparation and monitoring of relevant regulatory reports including arrears reports, Basel II and BA610 reports-Preparation of Watchlist, Expected Credit Loss and Impairment reports-Monitoring of DGs (customer Default Grades), Loss Given Default (LGDs) as well as Loss in Event of Default (LIED) for names within the recoveries space as a proactive management of impairment-Management of Impairment and related analysis to ensure that impairment is constantly maintained within the set budgets/targets-Carrying out impairment tests and calculations on Watch List names-Preparation of the Credit submission reports for Absa Regional Operations Committee consideration on distressed names-Review and Approval of Credit requests for names under the Business Support & Corporate recoveries portfolio within sanctioning mandate awarded-Facility restructuring and modelling where necessary as a means of remediating/rehabilitating distressed accounts.
