  Seidel is a Baptist Minister and the Dean of Ministerial Formation and Development at Spurgeon’s College. He is a senior executive responsible for overseeing the ministerial formation for Ministers in Training (MiTs), Newly Accredited Ministers (NAMs), and Lay Training (Equipped to Minister) for the Baptist Union of Great Britain and the wider church. Ministerial formation delivered across two sites (London and Birmingham) and lay training across three sites (London, Birmingham and Cambridge) in partnership with four Baptist Associations (LB, EBA, SEBA and HEBA). In addition, Seidel is also the Tutor in Ministerial and Practical Theology, where he teaches subjects such as professional ministerial practice, mission, evangelism, apologetics, preaching and world religions.
