  I am a highly motivated individual with excellent organizational, leadership and customer service skills. I have been responsible for the development and growth of the physical and occupational therapy clinics as well as physician office clinics. I have 27 years of management and patient care experience in a large healthcare system which has experienced tremendous growth throughout my affiliation. I am an Epic Certified Analyst responsible for the implementation of the Epic application in the Inpatient, Acute Rehab and Ambulatory Rehab departments as well as an active member of the build team supporting SmartForms build for all settings. Primary responsibilities include the day-to-day operations of a 99+ staff, seven location rehabilitation services department. Responsibilities include:• Day-to Day operations of the physical therapy department including 15 direct reports• Day-to-Day operations of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation clinic including 3 physician staff and nursing personnel• The utilization of clinical knowledge, informatics knowledge, practice experience, critical thinking, and leadership skills to facilitate a multidisciplinary approach to quality care through the application of electronic systems• Maintaining expertise in clinical care of patients, medical center operations, and clinical informatics including current knowledge of available health information technology• Actively participating in user groups and national meetings to build knowledge of successful clinical informatics practices• Managing the clinical documentation system including the design, build, policies relating to the use of, and configuration of applicable systems within the Rehabilitation Services department• Build, maintenance, policies, processes, reporting and staff training of all department business and clinical information systems including registration, billing, and clinical documentation systems Show less
