Working with a team of people in the coated products factory, making the Sealord range of battered and crumbed products. Helping to drive and sustain the company's 5S initiative. Enjoying learning new skills around the coating process, the many machines used in this process and working with staff on continuous improvement. Have just worked with all coated staff day and night shifts and have got them through their Nation Certificate seafood food processing L2 and we just completed L3. It's been exciting to see the coated area throughput improve by 10%. Improving workflows and changing the culture in the plant. I have worked on projects which have seen great improvements in production KPIs. Currently I have been running the new nightshift team started in November 2017. This has gone well and the Team is now starting to achieve KPI targets and develop good skills. Show less
