I supported healthcare professionals by assisting with patient needs, aiding medical staff during procedures, and contributing to various departments throughout the medical center. Through specialized training, I developed the skills needed to assist medical staff effectively while benefiting from their shared knowledge and experiences, deepening my understanding of the healthcare environment and the role of medical providers.   As a Software Developer Associate at the Autonomy Research Center for STEAHM (ARCS), I led a team in designing and developing a compiler to integrate NASA JPL's F Prime Prime language with the Proteus language. Serving as Scrum Master, I facilitated sprint planning and applied agile methodologies to drive the project from concept to execution, ensuring timely delivery. I collaborated with advisors to align technical requirements with functional specifications and deliverables. My contributions included developing a tokenizer using Scala to efficiently parse and separate the two languages, enabling seamless interoperability and optimizing performance for JPL programmers. The project culminated in a formal presentation to NASA JPL members, where we showcased our technical achievements and demonstrated the project's potential impact. This experience was an invaluable opportunity I had to learn from mentors at NASA JPL. Their guidance helped me deepen my understanding of software engineering concepts and refine my problem-solving skills, enabling me to contribute effectively to complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions as part of a collaborative team.
