      My research simulated a mobile satellite network experiencing rain fade to evaluate the efficiency of different handover and admission strategies that have been adapted from terrestrial mobile networks. The objective of my research is to ensure that a user is always able to achieve high availability while allowing the satellite network operator to maximise the operational efficiency of their networks.

      Worked as a ships radio officer where I was responsible for maintaining the ships radio stations and undertaking general maintenance on the on-board electrical installation including generators and switch gear.

The role includes cross function responsibility to prepare business cases and ensure the delivery of agreed business improvements to time and budget; this includes changes to working practices and supporting IT tools and systems in line with organisational, operations and business development priorities.
