      Post Doctoral Research Training Organizational Behavior

      During my post-doctoral training in Organizational Behavior, I was trained in how my background as an experimental social psychologist translated to the field of management. In addition to my work with faculty in the Organizational Behavior discipline, I taught undergraduate classes in Organizational Behavior and also in Business Statistics.

      SCIL is a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization with the mission to promote a barrier-free environment for all individuals with disabilities through public education and advocacy for social change, and to provide a full range of independent living services which will assist in progressing toward his or her goals for independence.I served as the president of the board from 2013-2015, and have served as the Treasurer, as well as serving on the executive, finance, program, and fundraising committees.       One of my main projects during this sabbatical is co-editing a special issue of Management Teaching Review focused on Social Impact in the Management Classroom I worked collaboratively with the dean and faculty in the college of business to ensure excellence in all academic programs. My primary responsibilities focused on successfully leading our efforts to gain initial AACSB accreditation. I coordinated faculty work in the areas of Management, Marketing, Business Administration, Business-Law, and Business-Communication. TAMU-SA is a fast growing institution, offering undergraduate and graduate degrees.
