  • Managed the entire hardware inventory which included tasks such as maintaining part quantities, performing quality tasks (incoming inspections, non-conformance reports, resolving supplier issues), and improving the inventory tracker to include automatic prompts. • Investigated manufacturing issues, both software and hardware related. • Built the circuit board for the first ever functioning Spartan Cube and assisted with the feasibility manufacturing and testing.

  • Oversaw the development of an invitro diagnostic device with a hardware, software, microfluidic, and biosensor component. Took the product all the way from concept to a device that could detect COVID-19 IgG, Luteinizing Hormone (LH), Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), Testosterone, and THC in blood, urine, and breath. • Hired and managed a team of six full times employees including 4 PhDs and one professional engineer. • Implemented an Objectives and Key Result (OKR) project management structure for product and business development. • Worked with Patent Lawyers to file 2 full patents (US, Canada, PCT) and one provisional. • Worked with regulatory consultants to identify regulatory path for three different products. • Applied to and obtained several government grants including NSERC, Mitacs, and a $140k IRAP project to develop a COVID IgG point of care test. • Assisted CEO to raise over $2.5M USD from VCs and Angel Investors, including Y-Combinator. • Undertook 1 million other little tasks, from finding a doc control software to sourcing lab equipment.
