Details are as under. Devise costing strategies with the HOD. Negotiating with the customer on set target price and finalize the costing process with HOD. Negotiate on pricing with sub vendors (Printing/Embroidery), monitor their compliance andproduction capacity. Based in this, plan each PO/Style and allocate production. Manage a team of Merchandisers, and QC to monitor quality standards and minimizerejection of production running at sub contractor facility. Draft contract agreements for sub-vendors. Upon receiving of PO/forecast, pass on the quantities to Planning department for deliverydates and book production capacity for the season. Discuss delivery dates with the customer based on the confirmation from the planningdepartment. In case of any change in the delivery schedule, revert to planning departmentfor further analysis in T&A(Time & Action Plan). Once the delivery dates are confirmed based on the projection, we receive buy fileconfirming the actual quantities against each PO/Style. Furthermore, issue fabric plan andIPO (internal Purchase order) based on the confirmed quantities. Having T&A as a tool to monitor the progress of the order, have in-depth follow ups andtake status of each detail related to the order and analyze the overall order progress. Ifforesee any hindrance that may affect the work flow of the order, proactively work with theconcerned department (Knitting, processing, Trims, assortment, Procurement, Stitching, andFinishing) to overcome the obstacles and ensure smooth running of the process flow. Constant correspondence with the customer regarding the production status by providingthem with weekly status report. Follow‐up on logistics with the customer logistics team and Export department to ensuretimely movement of the manufactured products on set CRD.
