  I led my end of studies project in the Aerospace Manufacturing Technology Center of the National Research Council of Canada. In the frame of an aerospace company inquiry, I was in charge of the management and operation of the experiments performed in order to optimize the Friction Stir Welding parameters for dissimilar alloys welding (different alloys of aluminum and aluminum with magnesium) which entails the- Setting of the experiments plans,- Welding,- Performance of the metallographic analysis and mechanical tests,- Interpretation of the results.This project led to the improvement of the performances of the studied welds and the evaluation of the impacts of the welding parameters.
