  Completed the hydraulic design of a Low-Specific-Speed Single-Stage Centrifugal Pump. Flow rate Q=200m^3/h, Head H=350m, Revolutions n=5500rpm Created impeller’s 3-D model by CFturbo and BladeGen, Created mesh by TurboGrid in ANSYS, Set boundary conditions, Simulated the velocity vector distribution, pressure distribution and streamlines of impellers by ANSYS. Collected simulating data and wrote reports for further optimization to improve the pump’s performance. After optimization, effectively reduced cavitation and turbulence in the flow channel, improved total efficiency by 4%. Show less
