  Enforcing Corporate Quality StandardsRe-wrote the company Quality control manual and added 12 new procedures, including process flow maps. QMS manual and adherence was audited by Bureau Veritas to meet ISO 9001 and 14001 compliances.Continuous Improvement LeadershipLed the 'Continuous Improvement' initiative in the region. Held Kaizen events in several workshops across the middle east region including Egypt, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Each session involved a one-day training course for the team, and a 3 day kaizen event to identify inefficiencies and one day to come-up with an implementation plan.Performance monitoring systemThe maintenance shop was not tracking labor utilization and consumption per job. I implemented a new system where all technicians and engineers labor is recorded on a daily basis against the work order they worked on to track labor consumed per work order. Subsequently creating a system to measure labor hours consumed per job type, and labor utilization.Performance metrics were reviewed on a weekly basis with workshop management and used to improve performance.Lean Layout ProjectCompleted a process map of key processes at maintenance facility and conducted a study on material flow through the facility. Layout was re-designed according to processes while minimizing technician and material travel distance for key processes. I designed new ergonomic work stations where technicians could find the tools and parts they need for the job in one place. New lean layout was implemented and material travel distance was reduced by 55% which resulted in a 30% reduction in turn-around time. Getting products back in to operational mode faster than before.   Maintenance Manager

  I remained Maintenance Manager at a 2500 square meter Facility in Dubai where we supported Drilling operations in the Middle east region. I was In-charge of maintenance of Electro-Mechanical Machines used on Oil Rigs. I was also In-charge of manufacturing of machinery housing platforms used on Oil Rigs. I had the opportunity to use Agile Kanbans to schedule maintenance operations in an environment with extreme variation in client demands, I was able to lead my team to successfully complete 476 jobs. I was also able to lead my team using Linear PM Scheduling too manufacture over 34 Skids. I also led several Lean projects to improve efficiency. Working on Oil and Gas engraved in me the need for safety in any project, and the importance of delivering Quality. Working in a Fortune 500 company I learned the importance of systems to make a business scalable and reliable. Show less

  I had the opportunity to work with investors and develop three residential projects. This experience taught me about scheduling, cost-estimation, and design in construction projects. I enjoyed the used or AI tools in architectural design and use of PM tools like Microsoft project. But most challenging for me was learning stakeholder management; I had to take on a lot of responsibility and win trust among all stake holders, Emotional Intelligence is often overlooked and I was surprised that this was the most valuable skill I picked up in the world of construction Project Management.   Founder

  Established a home furnishings brand with in house manufacturing from scratch. Experienced starting and running a business. I attribute most of my white hair to this endeavor. Grateful for all the lessons learnt, memories made. Some of my notable accomplishments include setting up manufacturing incrementally upgrading until we were producing hundreds of units per month. Everything in manufacturing was streamlined and standardized. What I enjoyed most was incremental Product design where I was able to use agile PM techniques to breakdown wooden product design in to well defined phases and subsequently we rolled out about 68 individual products. Entrepreneurship is all about selling, Selling was a challenge for me but I learned to enjoy it and with my team we were able to sell thousands or products every year. Implementation of systems, and building an effective team led to this business being automated. Show less
