  Project Title: Suggesting an Optimized Plan On Work-In-Process Inventory & Manpower To Garment Industry Using Lean Initiatives (A Case Study).Problem Statement: It was observed that there were a lot of Work-In-Process (WIP) Inventory among workstations and on floors which was a major reason to decrease output. No standard working procedure and proper distribution of work affect the planned schedule of production.Research Objective: To optimize the production process of the men Kurta section, considering the current standard time, work-in-process (WIP), and manpower.Result:- Optimized Manpower in all departments of men’s section such as Cutting 32.7%, Sewing 28.3%, Finishing 21.3%.- Reduced WIP level such as Cutting 40.9%, Sewing 40%, and Finishing 50.9%.- Uncovered and address issues causing reason for increased manpower and WIP holding. - Recommended an Optimized Manpower and WIP Inventory Plan - Identified the current status and proposed optimum level of WIP inventory in the men’s section. - identified the standard time for performing any task through which we identify per head, daily, monthly production.
